The wait is finally over as the Ton of Johannesburg goes agog with the Netflix ball in honor of the premier of the third season of the showstopper, Bridgerton. The first installment which was launched on May 16, featured the first four episodes of the season, with the second installment set to drop on June 13.

The last season left us with a shocking reveal of who really is yielding Lady Whistledown’s pen and we see how this comes between a long standing friendship. This season opens up in a familiar set with the Bridgerton family standing outside of Francesca’s door, just as we see in season two for Eloise.

This romantic journey unwinds the social life of the eight Bridgerton siblings, named alphabetically from A-H, unfolding their separate, distinct and yet very neatly wounded lives and how each one of them finds love amidst the buzzing activities of the Ton that features series of balls and soirees.

This ball’s theme, Regency Era Splendor: Into The Spotlight, brought your faves into the spotlight in regent ball gowns and long coats to grace the invitation from the Queen.

Bridgerton The Diamond of this season, Priscilla Ojo was styled by the amazing stylist, Emmanuel Goodnews, in a beautiful, mint green and ivory colored ball gown, with off-shoulder sleeves that started with a puff and ended with flowery ruffles at the sleeves, paired with a hat, all designed by the very capable hands of Xtra Brides, Lagos. Taymesan Emmanuel gave us ‘Duke vibes’ in this off-shoulder, navy blue colored coat, paired with a white shirt and black trousers, wearing a top hat and carrying a cane. He was styled by the amazing Dahmola, who obviously knows his ‘onions’ and he worked with Tinathan.official to bring this Duke to the ball to find his Duchess.

BridgertonIt was indeed a Bridgerton affair, as the ball which was organized by Netflix to mark the seasons’ premier saw some of your favourites in regal ensembles, undoubtedly transforming them into Lords, Viscounts, Dukes, Ladies, Viscountesses and Duchesses and ofcourse, the Lady Danbury, played by Adjoa Andoh in Bridgerton was present as the Queen’s right-hand lady and Special Guest.
