The Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Gala this year felt like watching a secret garden unfold — elegant, impossibly detailed, and drenched in diamonds that shone so bright. There’s always something magical about Tiffany events; they don’t just celebrate jewelry, they honour history, craftsmanship, and that quiet luxury you can’t fake.

Held on Friday, 25th April 2025, at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the gala marked the unveiling of Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder Collection — inspired by the ocean’s tides, gliding waves, and ethereal sea creatures. Naturally, our favourite faces arrived dipped in Tiffany couture and dressed to dazzle.

The first person to capture my attention? Anya Taylor-Joy. There’s just something about her presence. She wore this sheer, embroidered black Dior gown that looked like it had been stitched together with sparkles and starlight. You could tell the craftsmanship was serious and intentional.

Tiffany The star of the action thriller ‘Gorge’, who is also a brand ambassador for Tiffany, sparkled in Tiffany diamonds, the necklace was an 18k white and yellow gold set, totaling over 10 karats in diamonds, from the latest collection. Anya and her husband looked cozy together for their date night with Tiffany. Her husband McRae followed her cue by also wearing black striped suit piece and matching with a stripped white shirt and a brown tie. The pair looked dreamy in their matching fits.

Taylor Russell looked ready for the Met itself in a flowy white Conner Ives gown, crowned in Tiffany & Co. diamond pieces. “It feels like a mini Met,” she said — and she wasn’t wrong.

Gabrielle Union? Whatever Gabrielle wears, I love because what’s not to? Gabrielle looked like a vision, and not in that overused cliché kind of way. She glided in this floral-embellished white gown that was so textured, so layered, it almost moved like a blooming sculpture. And as Tiffany ambassador, Gabrielle’s diamonds were soft but intentional, not screaming for attention, just humming with confidence. Gabrielle radiates that rare balance of softness and power.

Gabrielle is someone who knows how to walk the line between romance and power, and that night, she was the definition of both. Her husband Dwayne was just the right amount of enthusiastic, as he painted one of his nails Tiffany blue, saying, ‘just a little homage to the brand’. The former NBA player also accessorized with a Tiffany brooch and watch. This right here is the energy we love, a supporting partner who brings the same level of energy.

And then there was Quinta Brunson, who we all recognize from ‘Abbot’s Elementary’, also bedazzled in Tiffany and Co.’s Fancy Intense Yellow diamonds, rendered in ‘Bird on a Rock’ design. Quinta kept it simple but elegant in this bejeweled white body hugging slip dress and girl did she slay that look.

Alicia Keys gave us something entirely different, a custom Givenchy suit, with no inner piece, allowing the Tiffany’s ‘Jean Schlumberger Leaves‘, glitter around her neck. This piece of jewelry looked so intricate it almost didn’t look real, and somehow made it feel like a natural extension of herself.

Her look was powerful, unfussy, and oh-so-sharp. The girl was truly on fire. The 17 times Grammy Award Winner performed that night, kicking off the night with the sweet melodies of ‘Diamonds are Forever’, and if you ask me, I think that’s why she dressed like a conductor of elegance.

Tiffany Blessed our ears with the classics, Keys just glided through some of her record breaking songs like ‘If I Ain’t Got You’, ‘Girl on Fire’ and ‘Empire State of Mind’, which she closed the night with. Alicia has this grounded glamour I really admire. Nothing feels borrowed. Everything feels earned.

Mikey Madison in butter yellow? Unexpected and perfect. The strapless gown gave this gentle softness, almost nostalgic, and her diamonds, a bright yellow pendant, neckpiece. Madison kept it clean, fluid, not over-styled, brought the whole look forward. She doesn’t scream for attention, but when you do notice her, you can’t look away.

Greta Lee looked stunning in her off shoulder white ensemble, leaving enough room for the ‘Blue Book Urchin Fancy Intense Yellow’ diamond necklace to sparkle and dazzle under the themed lights of the ballroom,

The Blue Book collection this year, inspired by the sea, carried that fluid, tidal magic into every look. You could feel it in the undulating lines of a necklace, in the cool shimmer of aquamarines, in the way the jewelry didn’t just accessorize the outfits, it told its own story. It’s rare for accessories to feel this essential, but Tiffany made them the heartbeat of the night.

What’s most striking was how unified the entire evening felt. Not in a matchy-matchy way, no, not that, but in the way everything whispered the same language: refinement, reverence, and wonder. It felt less like a red carpet and more like a curated piece of living art, each person telling their own story like an art painting.

As I pieced together all the moments from the Blue Book Gala, I kept thinking about how intentional everything felt. It wasn’t about being loud or over-the-top, it was about elegance, craftsmanship, and letting the jewelry do most of the talking. Every outfit was carefully thought out, from the bold architectural gowns to the soft, whispery silks. Everyone seemed to understand the assignment: this was a celebration of beauty in its purest, most sophisticated form.

What made the 2025 Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Gala unforgettable wasn’t just the diamonds, though they sparkled endlessly. It was how everyone wore them: with grace, confidence, and deep appreciation for the craftsmanship that turned a night of glam into a moment of art.
