And it’s a wrap under the hot dessert Californian sun, two explosive weekends of sun bathing, soaked in music, art and all colors of fashion. If you thought the first weekend of Coachella 2025 Valley Music and Arts Festival was something, then you have seen nothing because this second weekend… baby it was all kinds of electric, explosive, magnetic, chaotic in a musical way, and every other word that ends with ‘-ic’.

Coachella 2025 second weekend came with all the vibes and everything it should give. The surprises were really surprising, shocking and unexpected. The fashion was taken up a notch and the music was everything and so much more, from ‘K-Pop’ to ’90s funk’, there was something for everyone.

Now I know you were home for Easter, celebrating and finding Easter eggs but don’t worry, I’m here with all the juicy details of the second weekend so you don’t miss out, sit back, relax and enjoy.

Coachella 2025Let’s start with Tyler, the Creator, because he cleared. He made an explosive entrance, literally RV explosion and all, then went on to deliver a 22-song masterclass in stage presence. He had a guest line up with everybody that is anybody, Childish Gambino, A$AP Rocky, Charlie Wilson, and the soft-voiced goddess herself, Kali Uchis. Tyler curated an entire world during Coachella 2025, and it was electric.

He had on this unbuttoned sky blue shirt, chinos, and sneakers with white socks. It was giving camp counselor from the future. His stylist, Mobolaji Dawodu, really said “let’s take granola-core and make it editorial,” and honestly? It worked. The whole thing felt like he was about to lead a hike and drop a fire verse at the summit.

Coachella 2025Tony Award winning actress and musician, Cynthia Erivo joined Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic on stage at the Outdoor Theatre, to perform her unreleased songs, ‘Brick by Brick’ from her yet to be released album ‘I Forgive You’ and Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’.

Lana Del Rey was her usual dreamy, melancholic self, coming out in this pale-blue custom Dolce & Gabbana mini-dress, with chiffon draping, but she gave us a twist. Not only did she summon Camila Cabello during Coachella 2025 for a sugary performance of “I LUV IT,” she also sang as a hologram. Yes, you read that right. Speak of advances in tech and AI, AI is truly invading ever industry. A holographic Lana floated ethereal and tragic across the stage to “Hope Is a Dangerous Thing…” and the crowd was spellbound. I am still in awe of that performance.

Coachella 2025Lana is who she thinks she is. As she noted during her performance, this was her first performance at Coachella 2025 Valley Music and Arts Festival since after her last appearance on the stage 10 years ago and boy did she make up for the time gap, giving us a hit mash of ‘Without You’, ‘Doin Time’, ‘Ride’ and an acapella version of ‘The Grants’ which she performed with her back up.

This year, the ‘K-Pop’ group seem to be ruling and winning at Coachella 2025. The K-Pop 7 boys group Enyphen performed for the second weekend and gave me a reason to start getting into K-Pop music. They gave us back to back hits in a 13 songs line up, with perfectly synchronized choreography. Sticking to their street style wear, the South Korean boys were dressed in baggy jeans, jackets and vests, if you ask me, they’re leaning into the American fashion and I love it.

Coachella 2025Then there was No Doubt, and listen, Gwen Stefani climbed coachella 2025 stage scaffolding in heels like she was a contruction worker who is also a runway model. Gwen Stefani stepped out in a red lace corset top, black and red plaid pants cut into a micro-mini at the front and flaring in the back like a mullet, fishnets, and platform boots. Hair bleached within an inch of its life and styled like a punk Barbie who just landed from 1998.

Styled by her long-time collaborators Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, who never miss. The band ripped through classics like “Don’t Speak” and “Just a Girl,” and when Olivia Rodrigo came out to join them on “Bathwater”? Gen Z and Gen X hearts exploded simultaneously.

Now for the pop girls and their surprises, Sabrina Carpenter got everyone emotional with Norah Jones, of all people, for a duet of “Don’t Know Why.” It was an unexpected Coachella 2025 match, but it worked like a sad summer romance in a rainy Netflix teen film.

Peso Pluma wasn’t about to let the energy dip, he brought Anitta out to shake things up with “Bellakeo,” which basically turned the desert into a dancehall.

Charli XCX came out in this metallic chainmail halter top and tiny silver hotpants, styled by Nathan Klein, obviously. Charli gave us a full pop-party fever dream, performing 10 songs sfrom the ‘BRAT’ album and a few other from ‘365’ and ‘Von Dutch’ albums, making it total of 16 songs. She invited Troye Sivan, Lorde, and Billie Eilish on stage like she was collecting pop royalty Pokémon cards. Oh and she was decked out in Valentino Beauty’s Puffer Gloss, serving face as much as vocals.

Tyla channeled Britney Spears circa 2001 with her green-and-purple Y2K fantasy look, giving us nostalgia wrapped in Afropop excellence. And Raye, our UK powerhouse, timed her song “Mary Jane” to land exactly at 4:20 PM on 4/20, because what is Coachella without a cheeky little weed anthem?

Fourth headliner for Coachella 2025, Travis Scott showed up more than 10 minutes late but gave us hit music of about a dozen songs, including all time hit songs like ‘Highest in the Room, Fein and Sicko Mode’, bringing guest performers like Sheck Wes and Don Toliver.

Even the rockers had their moment. Jimmy Eat World and The Prodigy stormed the Coachella 2025 stage like it was Warped Tour meets underground rave. And for the record, Benson Boone won funniest comeback of the weekend by performing with a cardboard cutout of Brian May of Queen after getting roasted the weekend before. Icon behavior.

Coachella 2025 was the best of the best and I personally can’t wait for the days to roll into weeks, into months and the next Coachella comes knocking because I know it would be bigger, better and more explosive than this year’s.
